MUDDY FEET® working with the Sunshine Centre

In September Muddy Feet worked with the Sunshine Centre in Banbury to provide a Forest School programme in Princess Diana Park. Funded through the National Lottery this project provided an accessible Forest School programme in the heart of Banbury Town. The programme gave an opportunity for preschool children to get connected to nature and experience simple fun nature-based activities as well as provide an opportunity to socialise outdoors during the Covid pandemic. The programme was supported by the wonderful Sunshine Centre staff who helped families access the programme.

Muddy Feet will be continuing to work with the Sunshine Centre at Christmas and in 2022! To find out more about the sunshine Centre click here.

Alex Williams

Alex established MUDDY FEET® in 2013. A graduate in Environmental and Resource Science, Alex spent a year working with communities in the Philippines on a VSO placement. During this year she worked with rural communities to implement environmental projects, training local people in sustainable techniques to help preserve their local food and natural resources. Alex worked with communities to establish marine protected areas, mangrove reforestation, and establish livelihood projects.
