Held at Quinton House School, you will learn to assess and improve your grounds for outdoor learning, biodiversity, and climate adaptation.
Objectives:
• Audit your site for outdoor learning, and biodiversity, and identify links to school climate change plans for adaptation and mitigation.
• Identify species using identification skills and identify how to increase biodiversity on your site.
• Understand soil health and learn how to test the soil and improve the soil.
• Fire cooking skills – cook your lunch on the fire!
• Learn about climate change impacts on school grounds and ideas for outdoor activities.
The day runs from 10-2.30 pm
