We have also developed a specialist L3 training course to equip outdoor leaders to work with a range of Neurodiverse needs, alternative curriculums, and behavior outdoors. The course covers a range of mental health needs, definitions of Neurodiversity, how to ensure we practice in an inclusive manner, communication and strategies. How to emotionally regulate your students, and how to engage your students effectively. This course is a must for those who are experienced at outdoor delivery and are working with children who have special needs, or who have faced trauma or Adverse Childhood Experiences.
