MUDDY FEET® Curriculum Based Outdoor Learning Courses

We worked with the L2 Curriculum-Based Outdoor Learning students and the L3 Coordinating an Outdoor Curriculum students at Howe Park Wood in Milton Keynes. It was so great to teach them ways of teaching outdoors, sparking creativity, inspiration, and confidence. We discussed risk-benefit, sustainability, benefits of nature connection, and ecosystems. We will be working with these students for the next 6 – 12 months as they complete their portfolios. The teachers will deliver outdoor learning within their schools as part of the portfolio, bringing innovative teaching and helping to increase biodiversity within the school grounds.

Alex Williams

Alex established MUDDY FEET® in 2013. A graduate in Environmental and Resource Science, Alex spent a year working with communities in the Philippines on a VSO placement. During this year she worked with rural communities to implement environmental projects, training local people in sustainable techniques to help preserve their local food and natural resources. Alex worked with communities to establish marine protected areas, mangrove reforestation, and establish livelihood projects.
