MUDDY FEET® delivers event in partnership with Island Pond Wood

Muddy Feet was invited to work with the Friends of Island Pond Wood to attend an event day in October. We had such a great time at this very popular event. Muddy Feet provided a stall to make fairy doors that could be taken home or left in the wood. We made a fairy village and built dens. The Friends of Island Pond Wood provided arts and crafts, apple pressing, and refreshments. This was a wonderful family day out and helped raise awareness and support for this hidden gem of a woodland.

Alex Williams

Alex established MUDDY FEET® in 2013. A graduate in Environmental and Resource Science, Alex spent a year working with communities in the Philippines on a VSO placement. During this year she worked with rural communities to implement environmental projects, training local people in sustainable techniques to help preserve their local food and natural resources. Alex worked with communities to establish marine protected areas, mangrove reforestation, and establish livelihood projects.
