MUDDY FEET® Life Skills Outdoors toolkit

Muddy Feet® has teamed up with Teach Outdoors and combined our wealth of knowledge and skills to develop a toolkit for developing lifeskills outdoors.

This toolkit is aimed at primary-aged children and contains 20 activity plans that can be delivered by teaching staff on any school ground or school field. The toolkit contains a life skill overview table and skill/activity reference table so you can find the activity to develop each specific skill with ease.

Each plan has a skill development overview, timings, resources, activity outline, and how to extend skills further.

This outdoor life skills framework develops communication, thinking, independence, social, research skills as well as moral, social, and cultural development.

Alex Williams

Alex established MUDDY FEET® in 2013. A graduate in Environmental and Resource Science, Alex spent a year working with communities in the Philippines on a VSO placement. During this year she worked with rural communities to implement environmental projects, training local people in sustainable techniques to help preserve their local food and natural resources. Alex worked with communities to establish marine protected areas, mangrove reforestation, and establish livelihood projects.
